Metallization

SM industries have the world's highest level of reuse in the metallization process producing wind components and towers. Our automated manufacturing metallize with robots equipped with metallization guns. This reduce the process time with over 50%.

Our ability to deliver such a wide variety of solutions is supported by:

• 65% of the metallization wire is utilized (pure zinc).

• 35% is converted to dust in the process. All dust is recycled.

• When zinc is extracted as base material used in our processes, a reduced CO₂ footprint of 3,120 kg for every 1000 kg of zinc extracted is the optimized result.

• Recycling of zinc dust from us has a CO₂ impact of only 78 kg CO₂ pr. 1000 kg of zinc.
