The service unit at SM Industries is based on its historical connection with utilities. The department has approximately 30 people employed primarily servicing power plants. Typical jobs include contract work on machinery, smaller work shop deliveries, and larger audits of the power plants:
Inspection.
Repairs.
Readjustments.
Maintenance.
The department has both technical as well as work-shop related back-up from colleagues across the company if special knowledge is needed. SM Industries service includes available staff ready for a rapid reaction to emergency tasks – big and small – around the clock. You have the opportunity to sign a service contract, which provides significant economic and planning advantages in terms of precautionary and ongoing maintenance.
